Waterproofing is recommended (but not essential). Use a suitable leather protector spray from a distance and apply light, even coats. Avoid over-saturating the leather, which may darken the patina.
Routine care
For regular care, remove dust with a soft, dry cloth. If needed, wipe lightly with a barely damp cloth and let dry naturally.
Cleaning
For light marks, use a soft cloth slightly dampened with water and gently wipe without rubbing vigorously. Allow to air-dry away from heat.
If a mark persists, use a small amount of leather cleaner suitable for smooth leather, testing first on an inconspicuous area.
Finishing
To nourish the leather and maintain suppleness, apply a small amount of neutral leather cream with a soft cloth, then buff gently. This helps maintain the leather without making it overly shiny.

Vintage leather may show natural variations, creases and patina—these are part of its charm. Avoid harsh products, solvents, and heavy polishing. Do not use coloured polish unless you are certain it matches the exact shade.
